Well, I saw the book and had to pick it up. Not only for the cover and title, but because it was a story by Jaxx Steele, an author I have quickly come to view as one of my favorites. He has a style and flow to his writing that is so naturaly and fluid that the pages feel like they are playing like a show. I can literally see the action taking place and can feel the emotions of the characters.

In Claiming Cupid, Mr. Steele does not disappoint. Written from the point of view of Daniel, best friend to sexy rocker Max, we get a front seat to the pain he feels as Max moves from one sexy man to the next. We feel his frustration as he watches max choose men who are clearly using him for his fame and wealth, but never loving him for the truly worthy man he is.

Come Valentine’s day, Daniel asks Max, newly single, to help him prepare for a big date. What was supposed to be a friendly night as friends turns into something much more. Mr. Steele delivers a steamy read which has two characters who are well-developed, sexy, and human. Quickly becoming a must-read author, I look forward to more tales which tug at the heart-strings and feed the flames or eroticism.
